Framework and philosophy.
Our mission is to provide safe, compassionate, and professional psychedelic support to those in times of transition - whether that's death or a desired rebirth in the midst of life. We firmly believe in the transformative potential of entheogenic experiences when guided appropriately, respecting the autonomy of our clients and their right to explore their own consciousness. With services tailored for those nearing life's end, our aim is to integrate these journeys into a broader framework of personal growth, recovery, or acceptance, underscoring the inherent dignity and worth of every individual.
Our short-term vision for the future is to expand our reach within Colorado: as we consider this state, at this time, fertile ground for our long-term vision.
Our long-term vision for the future is to bridge the gap between lineage-style practitioners or those without academic credentialing and the current psychedelic medical ecosystem. We have observed a passionate schism of thought between these groups as how to best proceed bringing these healing substances to the greater populace. Many of those who consider these medicines as sacrament fear that overmedicalization and for-profit infrastructures are beginning to degrade this sacred milieu and disrespect the long-standing traditions (and indeed, birthplace of) these powerful catalysts. On the other side of the coin, those in the medical fields wish to test the limits of psychedelics through scientific rigor, all in the laudable name of documented/peer-reviewed safety, efficacy, and repeatability of results. At Psychedelic Nurse, we believe this space is one that can accommodate practitioners from all walks of life and experience; there is room here for both and everything in-between. We thus firmly posit that a way of spanning that divide is through leveraging the high trustworthiness of Registered Nurses in the eyes of the public as "proof" of concept, so...
Our end goal is to collect that scientific data and personal stories,
and make it freely available to the public,
for anyone who wishes to do what we do here.
The history of psychedelics has a long tradition of pioneers who gave of their knowledge and themselves without any expectation of return. Psychedelic Nurse's foremost value is this generosity of self. When I have amassed and compiled enough through doing this work, it will be given without monetary exchange to all.
